Day 3 and the kids have decided that sleep is not an option. The 94 degrees, 95% humidity didn't help. I've never been in Seattle in weather like this! So last we had a really bad thunderstorm come through. Lots of thunder and lightning! Very cool!
Anyways, Caitlyn was up til after 11 and finally crashed after driving around the Puget Sound area for over an hour.
Today, we make the journey down to Portland. It should be a fairly easy 3 hour drive since the kids should be sleeping during their nap time. We'll see though. As long as we can listen to our music and not Caitlyn's "Sing a Long Favorites" I'll be happy.
We should be there by 4 but who knows with this crew. Tonight, we're hoping to meet up with some friends in town and maybe take a swim in the hotel pool. Thank god for air conditioning and indoor pools :)
